Tranny Mount

A thought crossed my mind so I decided to ask... Is it possible to put in a new tranny mount without having to remove the tranny? Just slide it in and bolt it up?

Yeah, you can absolutely change the mount without pulling it. Just may need a jack to raise it up, since you'll also be tilting the engine some.

Matt is right on. You (in my case anyhow) do indeed need to jack things up. It's about a 5 minute swap.

Is there any difference between a AOD tranny mount and 5spd? I looked at them both didnt find any if anyone else can confirm.

I doubt they are different. Ford really didn't have that many different mounts.

I found the c4 (auto) mount is the same as the T5, but I've never dealt with an AOD car, but what I'm getting at is, if they look the same, they will work....

If the tail shaft houseing is the same then yes it fit
