Tranny problems, 3rd and 4th grinding

Ok, so 3rd and 4th gear started grinding real bad today and its getting progressively worse. I need to get out as cheap as i possibly can. Ive seen where jegs and summit have t-5 rebuild kits for about 250, any ideas??

i'm rebuilding mine--d&d has a kit for 180. so long as it has new synchros and new bearings, should be fine. also might wanna check if your tranny has oil and if the rear seal is broken.
