Tranny problems on 01 Bullitt

When the car is running, car is making a very loud whining grinding sound from the transmission. sounds changes when clutch is engaged but doesn't go away. Is this a bad throw-out bearing? Bad clutch? Know who I should take it to? Any help with be great. Thanks guys.

Throw-out bearing would be the first thing to check. If you can get under it pull the dust cover over the shift fork. It is a rectangled shaped cover held on with one bolt. With a flashlight you can see the TOB and usually can tell if it is shot.

Agreed,sounds like the throughout bearing.
