i have a recently rebuilt world class t5 , it has about 10xxx on it and when i shift hard into 3rd it grinds,(only grinds sometime, its like a nochy fill) any idea as to what it can be ,
What clutch cable and quadrant system do you have. If it's stock I would try to replace that first. If the clutch quadrant system is not correct, then when you put the pedal to the floor, the clutch still won't be fully engauged.
If the clutch wasnt fully disengaging it would do it in all gears. Especially a grind into reverse. But since he is only have a grind into third i would look at 3rd gear blocker ring. Make sure its within spec and has good friction material on it. Also make sure the teeth are not all chewed up and have nice edges.
whast is the best wway to check the cable and it dose it only somtime when i shft real hard , maybe it is the cable i get just get excied and shift lol
