What's up everybody? My friend installed 3.90 motive gears in his 95 gt aode, and he put in a 23 tooth speedo gear. Now under full throttle it shifts slow between 1st and 2nd and 2nd and 3rd, almost as if it is bouncing off the rev limiter. i was thinking that he needed to get a custom burnt chip to raise his rev-limiter and whatnot. it shifts fine during normal acceleration but under full throttle it hesitates pretty badly. would a chip solve this problem? or is there anything else that it could be. thanks for the help.
