tranny swap question

That's a good question and seems to vary from car to car. I changed our 88 GT over to a C4 and here is what we did. Shifter, I used a Hurst Quarter Stick kit, Flex Plate, Flex Plate bolts, Block Plate, Torque Converter, C4 Transmission. Didn't have to change the crossmember on ours, it fit just fine, but I have heard several that had to move the crossmember. I used the T5 mount on the C4 also. Drive shaft fit fine too. I did add a Transmission Cooler. I used the Haden cooler for a 42,000lb truck. Good Luck!
