Tranny Troubles?

i installed a 75 mm BBK T-body with a plenum...so this may affect this....

i have an auto....and during the 2nd-3rd (either that or 3-4 not for sure the car is oin OD) during acceleration the RPM gauge will show a shift....and you feel it however....the Engine is still running at a higher RPM but the gauge doesnt read it....it sounds like its doing 40-45 @ 2-2500 RPMs instead of about 1800 or lower....it does not sound like it shifts.....and was wondering whtat it is?

Have you tried seeing what it does with the OD button off?
It may be as simple as having to adjust the shift linkage.

BTW- How many miles are on the car?

found out what it was...it does the samewith OD off....but its becxcause since i got the intake upgrade too much air has been entering the engine soo i needa better flowing exhaust to fix it...the air is jsut kidna staying in the motor...not exiting as quickly as it flows in....thank god PI heads and some new cams are in the works...and also prolly some shortys new midpipe and either flowmasters or magnaflows are in the near future....that should do it enough i would say...

by the way its got jsutover 80000 on it but the engine is working great....not issues or problems....jsut the air flow...if it doesnt fix like my buddies said after i increase the exiting flow then ill get it checked and ask for some help...
