I really like the look of the trans am mustangs in terms of ride height. I assume all trans am mustangs had the shelby drop but my question is was the rear suspension also lowered? If so where they lowered leaf springs?

There is a book available that lists all the changes.

If you'd rather see the real thing, there is a museum in SE PA that keeps a couple of Trans Am Mustangs in running condition.

The Boss 302's used 5 1/2 leaf springs w/alum. front eye bushings, panhard rod, rear sway bar etc. I can email you the .pdf of the original suspension book Shogun just PM me. I got it off the net but can't find where I saved the link...

Guys, you should really stop posting your email addresses like that. Its a sure fire way to get your name on a spamer's mailing list. Use private messages instead.

The Boss 302 manuals are really nice to have around. I've got the chassis and engine manuals in PDF. PM me if you guys want them.

Thanks for pointing that out Rusty, that was why I originally postes "I can email you the .pdf of the original suspension book Shogun just PM me." I didn't intend for people to post their email on an open forum.

Did you save the link to the original pdf posting? I can't seem to find where I put it after downloading the pdf's.
