trans/clutch issue

Put a new Ford cable and automatic adjuster on my clutch last week. Now its like an on/off switch. Some days it will work normal, clutch pops halfway, car shifts fine. Other days I have to force the car into gear. When I have the clutch all the way in, it's still engaged somehow, so unless im in neutral, the car will creep, and I feel like im going to destroy my syncros or something if I keep having to force it into gears or shift w/o the clutch. I know its standard internet advice procedure, but I'd go back and make sure everything is tightened up, and nothing is grabbing the cable.

Also, you might want to check and make sure you dont have the adjuster pawl on backwards.
