I have a 66 that I am that I am planning on doing an I6 to V8 swap. Ive been doing some reading on here to find out excatly what it takes to do that. The question that i have is that i want to switch it from an auto to a manual at the same time i put the new engine in. Right now im looking at gettin a 351 and i was wondering what my options might be as far as manual trans that will hook up to it. Like everyone else this is on a buget so i need a good but affordable set up. If anyone could please tell me what they think would be a good option i would appreciate it. Also if its not too much if you could also give me a rough idea of what all i might need to purchase in order to make that auto to manual swap.

Im doing the mustang steve cable clutch/power brake swap and hooking it up to a t-5 tranny. Im going to use a tko-500 transmission but you can get a t-5 for pretty cheap. it's a nice setup from what I have heard.
