Ok guyz, im in the process on reinstalling my trans. However I pulled it out months ago and I am wondering where does that top front plug on the T-5 go to. I found the harness for the reverse light and speedo cable but I forget where that front/top harness goes. Also, what the hell does that thing do? I dont even know what its for.... Sorry I dont have a digiCam but most of you trans guyz should know what I'm talking about. Also, another thing, on the drivers side, the O2 sensor harness has another round plug hanging out of it (it has a 1 pin female end on the inside). Whenre the hell does that plug go also. If anyone has any ideas where these plugs go and possibly have pics please post. Thanks guyz....

I've had my trans out eight or ten times and it only has two connectors. One for the speedo gear and one for the reverse light. They are both on the drivers side of the trans and that is all the connectors that mine use. Sorry I am not much help but I would have to see a pic of exactly what you are talking about.

Ill see if I can find any pics on the net. But its all the way at the top of the trans all the way at the front. The fitting on the trans (it has two wires coming off of it with a black harness at the end) is on the front of the top cover of the case that covers the sliders and stuff. It has two black wires and the harness is a round black two pin connector with a similar shape as the O2 sensor fittings. I'll see if I can find it on the web.

hey man... look it up in a service manual... dont you have it? Ask for a wiring diagram and you should be alright... a diagram would be in any service manual. Or.. just look around for a plug that matches the connector... pretty ez. I think you worry too much :)

I dont remember if it was hooked up (too long ago) but hey I'm driving the car now with no ill effects. So I'm not gonna worry about it too much. I'll ask my dads mechanic when I get some spare time....he might know what its for.
