Trans Question

I blew the 3650 Tremec in my 03 Gt, is there any other trans i can put back in it, besides a 3650 or a 6 speed?, Will a T45 or a T5 fit?, if so who has the parts? Thanks

T45 from any 4.6L 96-mid 01 will work but is a step backwards in power handling ability. There are T-5 adaptor kits out there but again,stock the T-5 is even weaker than the T45. My thought would be to get a TKO500 as the price isn't much more than a replacement T3650 but is much stronger and doesn't have any of the issues.
