Transmission blues

Well so much for more aftermarket mods, my tranny just died on me finally after 120,000 miles. So i'm lookin for a replacement, preferably just a t5. So does anyone have one they are willing to part with or know where i could get one cheap. Also i've seen the rebuild kits with bearings, syncros, etc. for about 150, how long would that take to do, or would it even be possible to do myself? If I had it rebuilt by someone else, how much do you think that'd be too? I can't get enough information, so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE... help me out.

If you've never rebuilt a tranny before, I wouldn't suggest it. It is not all that hard but does require patience and some specialty tools such as a press. You could probably find a used t-5 in the classifieds or on ebay. Or you could go with a T-5z or tremec. It all depends on how much you are willing to spend.
