Im trying to change my transmission fluid and i was wondering where the fill hole is that? I found the drain on the passenger side near the bottom. Is the fill hole the hole directly above it? Im a noob at this and i just wanna make sure so i dont mess it up . thanks oh and what did you use to fill it up? i was thinking a pump soap bottle lol since i have nothing else right now.

yup, i think on the drivers side, towards the front of the car...i've used those funnels that have a long tube attached, that worked pretty well. a pump soap bottle is actually a good idea...i'll have to try that next time

DON'T touch the plug on the drivers side! It will mess up the tranny. The fill plug is the one above the drain plug on the passenger side. I use a 3' long piece of fuel line hose that fits inside the fill hole, and I use one of the pointed gear oil screw on tops to pour in the ATF. You can use the hand pumps, or some remove the shifter and fill it from the top of the tranny. Either way, don't overfill it, 2.5 quarts should fill it up to the bottom of the fill hole.

You can get special automotive hand pumps designed for this type of work. They're fairly cheap too.
