Well guys I have an issue and I am very frustrated. Im new to the sn game and bought a car missing the transmission harness. Recently bought one out of a 97 gt 5 spd. My car is a 96 gt 5 spd. Some connectors aren't fitting together and some missing all together. I would like to know the function and or the name of the connectors and how important they are. Any help is appreciated.

It seems to me that a full set of Ford wiring diagrams is what you need. If interested in getting a copy for yourself I maybe able to help. PM if interested.

The trans harness also contains the connections for the O2 sensors and the harness will be different between an auto and manual. The harness is going to connect to a single connector at the back of the engine. It will split the connections from the driver and passenger side. You either have a harness that isnt for your transmission type or they made changes in 97.
