Transmission line plugs on Radiator

Have a 97 Mustang GT, stock radiator is bad so gonna swap it out. The new one is identical but has the two brass openings for transmission lines. Mine being manual, doesn't have those. Do I need to plug these or do I just leave the factory red caps in and forget about it? Just don't want leaks.

The transmission cooler is sealed off from the radiator (even though it is the radiator tank)

Coolant passes around the trans cooler-not through it- ignoring it will be just fine

Yep, RaggedGT is exactly right. I've been running a radiator with a trans cooler on it in my 5 spd for a couple years now with no issues.
