Transmission question.

I was looking into getting a short throw shifter. Any suggestions. Also would anyone know what kind of transmission was in a manual '88 Mustang 2.3L. Thanks a lot.

Any a shifter for a T-5 will work...because its a T-5... .really anything from a aftermarket company whose name is known will be fine, just pick one you like.

Its not WC box, and it has a taller first gear (3.94) and less of an OD (0.79 vs 0.68) than the 5.0L transmission, and the input shafts are different

Uh...Yes it is a World Class box and that has nothing to do with shifter selection.
