transmission sounds like it has marbles in it

exactly what the title says, i just converted my T5 to a T56. in neutral it sounds like it has marbles jumbling around in it... lol..it really isnt funny unless this is normal?? i bought the tranny brand new so could it just be the gears arent broken in yet and the noise will eventually go away? it has the correct fluid and is full.

Does the noise stay the same if you put your hand on the shifter (dampens vibrations)?

I would contact the vendor and inquire ASAP (not doing so could bite you warranty-wise).

Ouch. I'd say it's definitely not a normal thing if you ask me.

If you find out what it is I'd like to know because my tremec makes the same noise, it has since I got it 3 or 4 years ago. I thought it would go away too. I would have sent it back but I really needed it at the time as the stang was the only car i had and my t-5 was toast.

brand new world class T-5 has made the same noise since i put it in... its a little scary but I pulled it once and had a guy look at it and he said everything was ok... i'm still not sure...
