Transmission Swap

The Toploader on my '72 with a 351C needs a rebuild (again), but I was wondering if I would be better off swapping in a newer 5 spd like a Tremec.

Has anyone done this, and how easy/hard would it be? The only kits I found online are for 65-70 cars. Does anyone make a kit for 71-73 that gives the correct crossmember and clutch mounts?

T-5 Ready

I have a T-5 out of a 94 cobra ready to be put in, I believe I have everything I need except the crossmember. I'll be putting this in place of the FMX behind my 351c in my 72. I really wish there was more parts available for the big body 71-73s. I'd like to install a rack as well, but kits are only to 70 for those as well. Let me know if you find out anything.
