Transmission Troubles T5 93 Mustang 5.0 Tail Housing Cracks

My 93 mustang hatch 5.0 5 speed keeps cracking tailhouseings and I've been through 2 now and cannot figure out why

Not much to go on- but my first thought would be-
-Vibration(s), many causes here, a couple would be Bad U joints, unbalanced driveshaft, bad pinion bearing..
Is the car lowered ?
If it's lowered could it be jamming the driveshaft into the trans.
Is it the original driveshaft to the car?
Is the trans mount in good shape?
Does the car make a bunch of power?
Wish I could be more help,hopefully some of my suggestions might help you. Hang tight and smarter people will pop in with things to check etc. lol

Like maybe @Boosted92LX ,he may have an idea

I think @RaggedGT hit most everything I could think of off hand. Bad output bearing maybe allowing excessive runout leading to stress cracks. Maybe pinion angle binding the u joints.

Poly trans mount with stock rubber engine mounts?

The car is basically stock not lowered pretty sure it is original driveshaft only upgrade so far is a cold air intake so not a ton of power just replaced trans mount

And about the shaking yes it does it shakes super bad from 55-85 and then stops after 85

I would try putting the car up on jack stands (all 4 wheels off the ground) and let the car idle in gear. Watch for a wobbling/bouncing driveshaft or whatever is vibrating

Ok will do I got a new tail shaft housing for it an I'm going to put that on this weekend don't currently have the car it's 80miles away at my dads house

The stock driveshafts in these cars were trash. Very bad about vibration. The only known cure is the aluminum ford racing shaft. (Common fix) I put one in my car and it was smooth as butter afterwards. That vibration will tear upall sorts of stuff.

I'm gonna guess your driveshaft is very out of balance

I'm having the same issue with my 00 mustang 3.8 v6 stock T5 I bought the car and had to have a clutch, flywheel, throw-out bearing, and clutch fork replaced and it ran fine for about 6mo. them it cracked my Tail housing, drove it home and vibration started. I had the trans rebuilt with a new Tail housing and had it installed took a road trip it was vibrating at idle, in natural, in gear didn't get better or worse. on my way home 1,200 mi round trip I got about 150, miles from home and it cracked again I'm lost at what caused it.

and I checked my GPS on the trip with my speedometer @ 75mph, GPS showed 113mph I'm aware that the speedo is misaligned but that was the transmission shop
please help

Vibration. Vibration caused it- driveshaft out of balance or something internal just a shimmying lol
