Hey

when i start up my car in the morning I find it slighty difficult to put it into 1st gear. Almost like there is no 1st gear to shift into. When that happens i just "wiggle" the shifter in neutral and then put it into 1st. Seems to happen every time. just curious if anyone else experiences this when they try to put it into 1st.

But once the car get warmed up and I drive it for a while its like Buttah again.

I guess its just because the tranny is cold?

how many miles do you have on your car and have you changed tranny fluid lately?

about 28,300 miles.

And they said they changed the Fluid when they swapped out the stock clutch with the SPEC clutch.

how many miles ago was the clutch swapped out? what kinda fluid did they use? how much fluid did they use? sorry but these could be issues.

Well i have NO IDEA what kind of tranny fluid they used. and I aint gonna go back and ask them cause I dont like them no more ( i dont think they installed the clutch correctly...)

and the clutch was swapped out about ummm 2000 miles ago.. lol

lol.. well, you do have the tremec3650. If they filled more than the 3.2qtz that ttc tremec recommends it'll be hard to shift. but then again it shifts like butter when warmed up.. if i were you i would drain it and refill with dextron III.

Mine 02 does the same exact thing everyday - no bother though. I just row through all the gears before throwing it into reverse and backing out of the garage. Then it doesn't do it ever again.
This doesn't really bother or concern me...It's tight and shifts perfectly. It's just a little stiff when when I first try to shift. But again, one row through the gears and it's ready to go.

I ALSO "row" into the other grears before i put it into 1st or reverese...after that its like BUTTAH! I guess it normal.
