What are the differences between different year stangs and their transmissions? like what changed each year what are there ratings which ones are stronger?

you have to be more specific as to what year mustangs cause after the fox body which had teh T-5, i cant remember the year they moved to the T-45 and somewhere in the middle of 2001 they swapped to a T-3650 and teh 2003-04' cobra has the T-56 6 speed

80's - 95 = T-5
96-mid 2001 = T-45
mid 2001-2004= T-3650
03-04 Cobra = T-56

ok sorry bout that, I am mainly loking for info on the 96-01 t45 transmissions.

t-45 has like a 330lb torque rating
t-3650 has a 360lb torgue rating
t-56 has a 450lb torque rating

short story long the t-45 is breakable with too many mods. I can say it has been good to me so far. shifts nice and have no issues to date at 65k. If I get my KB like I want to this summer I am not sure I trust it to live though if I ever ran a sticky tire.
