quick question

got a 66 mustang 289 that i decided would be a good idea to rear end someone in. besides that i need the take the radiator out to move the car back into my driveway (its on the street right now). just wondering if the tranny fluid circluates through the radiator on the 289s. e me or throw an answer up here.

If it is an automatic, then yes it does.

You could just loop the two lines together with rubber hose and a couple of clamps to move it around. (not drive any distance)

Make sure that the hose won't come off or you will have a HUGE mess.

Why are you going to rear end someone with a Mustang?

Okay.. maybe you mis-stated or I misunderstood. If not...

Don't be a crook! What the heck is wrong with you?!?

And no, I don't find it funny if you were intending to joke.

My insurance payments are way too high as it is. I don't need people taking more from me with their ripoff schemes.

Wow, you guys are funny. He obviously screwed up and rear ended someone by accident. He's just asking what he can do so he can move the car without leaking fluid everywhere.

lighten up!

Dang that sucks. Sorry to hear about your car.

Yeah, it can be scary driving with modern cars. They definately stop better than my 4 drum vert. On a hot day, when everyone is going 70 and then comes to a stop, by the end I'm just about ready to use both feet. Feels like the drums have been greased.

heck yeah, that is y they have the lane that people break down in. Just pull it over to the side and coast to a stop i have had to do that multiple times on the highway, just look for the closest escape route.
