traveling with supercharger

would it be harmful to the motor or the supercharger to go on road trips? like 8 hour road trips?

Not really. Most of the time you'll be at cruising rpm vs. into the boost anyways.

Not at all, I took many, the only thing is I couldn't keep my foot out of it...

Travelling with a SC is the poop dude. Rarely ever have to downshift to pass or go up hill. Just roll on the gas.

Stop and think about how many cars come from the factory with a supercharger.....................

I have over 65k miles on my supercharger and they are not all local miles.

I've heard of some guys removing the blower belt on a 2-belt setup when going on long trips. you may wanna look into that

Removing the blower belt will just cost you fuel mileage and power since the engine will need to breath past the blower impeller. I run high 11's and still get 21.50 mpg on the freeway.
