I finally scored a set of Mach 1 seats, should be delivered by the end of the week. What is everyone using for leather treatment? The Mach only had 5000 miles on it so the seats are in great shape and I want them to stay that way for as long as possible.

I use Meguiars Gold Class for leather. Sometimes I use 303 Aerospace Protectant to enhance the UV resistance.

I bought Lexol, used it twice and never again, just didnt care for it.

I still like Gold Class then if I want to shine them up a bit I will use the leather whipes.

OK, so 3 votes for Meguiars Gold Class. How often should you treat your seats? Is there anything else I should do?

No matter what you put on these seats they still get beat down after
a while. My drivers side is pretty bad but the passenger seat looks new.

Yeah the leather does not wear very well. I think it must be pretty low quality.

That's what I use, good stuff. Wear is inevitable esp on the drivers side side-bolstering where you enter the car but the wipes def help. Plus they make it smell sorta new when you wipe all the seating surfaces.

As stated, Ford "leather" does not typically "wear" very well.

Maintaining those seats on a semi-regular basis will allow them to still look good after several years of usage. Apply your favorite leather conditioner product every 3-4 months or so...twice a year might be enough. Depends on your "usage" I suppose...

I'll take a picture this weekend to give an example of what mine looks like after about 7 years of wear. But to be fair I don't drive mine every day.

Zaino's leather care here. Apply it maybe twice a year; I've had my '03 GT since new and the seats still look great. I'm also a fairly lighter guy...6 feet tall, 160 lbs...so I probably don't put a whole lot of stress on the material anyway.

Oh, and it is my daily driver.
