tremec 3550 with borg warner t5 clutch!?help

ok i have a problem!
i have a tremec 3550 with a flywheel and al that but since my stock 95 gt t5 grinds and pops out of 2nd gear i am swappng it with my 3550... but my question is if i can still use the clutch from the borg warner t5 into the 3550 with no problem?

yes, a 3550 has a 10 spline shaft just like stock. You need a new bellhousing too.

Do lakewoods fit both tremecs and T5's? I know the mcleod ones do.

No, different bellhousing altogether. The bolt pattern is different. Is the 3550 used? It is common for a 3550 to be upgraded to a TKO input shaft, which is a 26 spline.

i have had the tranny for about 8 years and i bought it new and only put 20,000 miles on it... i havent upgraded the input shaft though
