I need the rear seal for my Tremec 3550. The one where the driveshaft goes in. What do I need to tell them I need at Autozone. What do these transmissions come in? Also, There are two plugs on the side of the tremec. I have two plugs hanging from the bottom of my car that went to the T5, which one goes where on the Tremec? Thanks in advance for any help.

I just disconnected everything under my car yesterday. As i remember on the t5, you cant mix up the plugs. They will only go in there respective slots

The tremec 3550 and T5 use the same seal for the driveshaft.

The two plugs: one is the neutral saftey switch that tells the computer the trans is is in neutral. This is for when you do the Key ON Engine Running tests when you dump the trouble codes.

The other plug is for the backup lights.
