I have recently got a new 3650 tranny put in from ford. It seems to run ok, however if you put a load on it around 3000-3500 rpm you hear what sounds like clashing/grinding a bit... it isn't really loud but you can hear it. Also after the car has been driven a bit and the transmission is really hot and at operating temperature, you stick the tranny in neutral, and let it idle you can hear it clashing/grinding... but it only seems to happen when it is hot. When it is cold or slightly warm ... nothing. This is with the clutch pedal let out in neutral.

This tranny has about 200miles on it now... unfortunately I got one with 1ZR part number... So I am back to the 1-2 shift grind again as well.

Any ideas???

Thanks,
