Ok picked up an 89 gt, with a 347 stroker world class t5 trans with aluminum fly and spec stage 3 clutch, and aluminum drive shaft. When shifting to 2nd gear if its above certain speeds it wants grind and or pop out the shifter. but if I put some force into the shift and hold the shifter back then it shifts fine????? Do i need a new trans? Was looking at the tremec tko600 and was wondering what all I need to swap if I get that? Can I still use current clutch driveshaft etc?????
