Does anyone know of any tricks to make my Trememc TKO shift better? There is nothing worse than missing shifts at the track

Maybe a Pro 5.0 shifter I know a guy who has one, and he says its a pain to shift. Has it been that way since you put it in. I would try calling Tremec and see what they recommend. That would be a start.

Easy 500 mile break in and use the recommended GM Syncromesh fluid. Other than that, see http://www.hanlonmotorsports.com/ for help.

I've only had my tremec in with a pro 5.0 shifter. Haven't missed a shift with it yet. I do hear from people that theirs are notchy, but I don't have that problem. I use the syncromesh to FWIW.
