Thanks for the clarification Markus. So you are saying the stops are internal and not on the shifter. I see, since the transmission does have internal stops what are the advantages of an aftermarket shifter?
i think the reason to use an aftermarket shifter is to set manually the stops. The aftermarket shifter is a better protection not to over shift the tranny. The internal stops are not good for fast shifting and bang the gears up and down.

I have the pro-5.0 on my t-5 and i love it! Apparently it has a very strong centering spring...which really helps for hitting 3rd gear.
My brother runs the steeda tri-ax and that is also and excellent piece. I have heart good things about the MGW. I would stick with one of those three though.
I would stay away from anything else that hasnt withstood the test of time.
