Its time for a full pipe replacement on my 02 mustang. The pipes are bone stock and my car already has a JLT CAI and accufab 75mm TB/Plenum. So it is time to add exhaust.

I will be purchasing the full kit tonight once i get a couple reply's here and i want to make sure what i get will bolt/weld and work.

Its an 02 GT.

So far i am thinking on LT headers (either steeda or bbk)... MAC o/r Prochamber with mil's and super 40 flows.

Now if i take that down to the local pipe shop will he have any problem installing these on my 02gt?

will i need hangers? do i need the o/r mac prochamber shorty pipe or regular pipe or are all prochambers shorty pipes?

When i go to a website to price bbk long tube headers and mac lt headers there is text that says will only bolt up to bbk xpipe and what not.. and the steeda headers say they will bolt with anything... so which tri-combo do i choose here.

Thanks :SNSign:

Ps. Im a 5.0 guy, this 4.6 stuff here is killing me... Do i have to take out my tranny to install Lt headers on this 4.6 and can i do the work on my back? there is almost no hand room on these super wide blocks in these 4.6's

I think most people who have done it themselves (not me yet) have dropped the K Member to get it done. Without doing that, there just isn't enough room. I'll let someone who jas done it before chime in though. Good luck! :nice:

So the standard mac o/r prochamber will not work with long tube headers?

I am going to buy a mac o/r prochamber and steeda cat back what headers do i need. at this point i dont care if they are LT or shortys, somebody tell me which ones will work with this setup please.
