We have had problems getting the car to start after head, intake install. Using Trick Flow 1.7RR's keep having back fire through intake and exhaust. Talked to Trick Flow Tech, gave very specific instructions on adjusting valves with the 1.7's, it did help but car will start and die...no idel Used 6.70 inch push rods, any body suggestionsor similar results.
Thanks

maybe the distributor is 1 tooth off. That will cause it to act like you are saying.

The TFS heads change the geometry and most cars require 6.7-6.75" to work properly so I don't see a problem with that.

Trick Flow recommends a 6.7" pushrod in their tech info.

I'm with Jeff...First thing I'd re-do is checking #1 to TDC, see how the balancer looks to 0, pop the cap and see where the rotors pointing...Usually popping and such is ignition related....

I agree entirely. Can't tell you how many times I've had problems because the dizzy was one tooth off!
