I still cant get this intake to stop leaking. Its a TFS track heat intake. Where i bolt the upper to lower intake it leaks right in the middle. I planed to take it to the shop but cant get it in till the end of the week. I pulled the upper off and in the middle of the gasket it is wet guessing fuel. I am sure that is the leak cause when i press down on the upper it muffles the whistleing noise. mods are
TFS Track Heat Intake
TFS Track Heat Cam
TFS Track Heat Heads
MAC CAI
C&L 76 MM
Profesional Products 75mm TB
30# Injectors
Plus more but these are the basic's

It runs great other then the vaccum leak. Its a brand new motor just started last week so i dont know too much about it. Only reason i got the 30's instead of the 24's was i got a good deal on them. I am afraid to put some sealant around the gasket cause I dont want nothing getting down into the combustion chamber or anything like that. Any one else had to put some sealant on there intake gasket (upper).

If I had my vaccum lines running off the intake wrong would that cause it to do these? I have one going to the brake booster, one going to the FPR, one going to the PVC on the lower intake. It doesnt matter which hole I hook these lines up to on the intake does it?

I would like to help but my car slows down when I floor it and will go fine if back off the accelerator. We think it could be a vacuum leak however can't prove it.

By the way what is your vacuum? Mine runs about 8?

Thanks

Alright got the car tuned in today. Turns out the whistleing noise is not a vaccum leak but the god damn throttle body POS :fuss: The thing is brand new too. So only thing I can do to fix that is buy a Accufab t/b. Car runs awsome now since it is all tuned in just have a very annoying whistleing noise.
