Need some feedback ford & stang guys?

What heads are better? What would you go with? They are both aluminum heads. I have a SBF with roughly .600 lift. Any other brand you would recommend?

Air Flow Research (185's)
----------------------
2.02 1.60 valves
@.600 lift
Flows 277 on Intake
Flows 191 on Exhaust
$1710 including freight and taxes

"or"

Trick flow (trackheat)
----------------------
2.02 1.60 valves
@.600 lift
Flows 251 on intake
Flows 193 on exhaust
$1687 including freight and taxes

Just wondering, where are you shopping for your heads? Those are decent prices.

From what I've heard from a lot of people, AFR is pretty much the absolute best when it comes to SBF heads.

took me a whiel to realize those were CDN dollars, lol.

Just remember that the 185's will need new pistons or yours flycut (generally), the TW's you can run with your regular pistons

Only a worry if you are trying to put these on a stock shortblock

Yes those are canadian prices. I am running JE's forged inverted domes so clearance shouldn't be a issue.

I would go with the AFR 185 if the prices are that close. Look at the flow numbers. What are you putting these on top of?

What is the flow of the heads in increments? From the #'s posted, the AFR heads are better.

Just be sure to allot a couple hundred extra bucks to upgrade the valve springs on those AFR's.
