Trick Flow Tweaking The Long Runner R Intake?

Hey fellas (and ladies).

BangShift has an article about a Trick Flow facility tour, and in passing they mention that Trick Flow is "improving the design" of the long runner TFS-R intake.

Anybody here know anything about this?

Here is the pallet with dissected intakes, and as you can see, an "R&D" tag:
