Has anyone used the Trick Flow upper plenum for 4.6s? It advertises "as much as 100 cfm over stock" and a 3/4" raise over stock. Just wondering if anyone has put one on theirs and if so, how is it? They are pretty cheap - about 140 bucks. Wondering if it would be worth getting - I don't have the time for getting all new heads and intake, just wanna do a few more easy bolt ons - just tryin to decide what to do next. Thanks

I've heard from several people that it whistles...and some have returned it because of this. On a budget, I'd get the C&L...otherwise, it's Accufab all the way.
Ck out the testing done at www.modulardepot.com - Plenum Shootout, part one and part two. In the end, they are all pretty close.

c2see21 has it on his car and he seems to be pretty happy with it. I would say it's worth a few rwhp N/A. Should perform even better on an FI applicatioon.

yup i have it, & no whistling here. when i did the plenum & 70mm tb i actually felt a very noticable difference in power. it kind of suprised me, i'm very pleased with it. i may do the accufab before long though, but it's not because i'm not happy with the trickflow :nice:

I have been running one on mine since they came out. I am pleased with it. From what I ahve seen there is little difference between the different brands. I read an article in mmff about the trick flow and there testing that sold me on it.

I bought it for my 04 and noticed that with a 75mm TB and the plenum, my powerband gained another 300rpms up top. now that I have the blower on the car, I really notice the benefits of the combo. great looking piece as well....got mine in Black.

Any pics of the Black one in the engine bay?
