Just installed the TFS plenum. But on throttle tip in theres a whistle. The car idles great, good throttle response. No codes.the car has 1800 miles on it all gaskets new.Anybody else have this.I noticed theres atear drop inside the old intake above the EGR hole.Im wondering if ford put that there for noise purposes. The TFS doesnt have it. For comparison the TFS intake is a good piece.

My accufab plenum also eliminated the rear "teardrop" you referred to, and it doesn't whisle. Some people speculate that the whistle noise might come from the TB and not necessarily from the plenum. Do you have a BBK TB? I've got the accufab 70mm TB.

I was doing a search for the dreaded whistle and found this thread. I have a tfs street intake, with a 70mm Pro-products TB and a meeaann whistle. I don't think it's the TB because it didn't whistle with the stock intake or a performer 5.0 intake, and I swapped a buddies 70mm BBK on the other night with no difference. When I get my head right in there and listen around it's loudest right inside the lopped over end of the inake? Did you ever figure your whistle out??

Oops, I just realized this was a mod post nevermind

I have one hell of a whistle with the TFS plenum and Accufab 70mm tb.
It started when I added my tb.

I exchanged my Dragon plenum for an Accufab plenum because of a whistle. I was told by Dragon that their internal air divider sometimes produces a whistle. Once I put in the Accufab plenum, the whistle went away.
