Yup looses power and regains power as soon as i turn the key of and back again. I wanna say its the starter but i really have a hard time believing that you know. My GM friends would say,"typical Ford."

Could easily be a short or even an ignition switch problem. Check and and all of the main power connections. Happy Hunting

My buddy Numbles/LX1 came by and yup i was a idiot with the timing. He moved the wires over one because we couldn't adjust the dist. My buddy left his tools at his friends so we really had nothing. Thanks for the tech guys sorry the whole dist thing is new to me.

O btw the ticking was the damn tube from the headers to EGR......It wasn't a lifter, i wish i would have seen the hole sooner. Hey at least i know my lifters are good.

Good to see you got it up and running

What you just went through
We've all been there before :Word:

Well ... you now see how it M U S T be in time

You also see how there is more than one way to skin that cat

Move the wires
or
Move the dizzy shaft one tooth

One way or the other ... it will put it all in time

This shows why some will say ............

"Its off one tooth" ... but we won't get into all that at this ... time
