I'm building up an all forged 331 with Trickflow twisted wedge heads and Trickflow trackheat intake, and then later on to be boosted by an S-trim that I have. I already have this cam, I think it's the stage 2?

I want to keep this street friendly, be able to idle without shaking like crazy. I have an E303 now and I have it tuned with the Tweecer and it idles so smooth and quiet and that's how I would like to keep it, (as smooth as possible anyway) I just need it able to be a daily driver. Which one would work better with a supercharger/turbo?
Which one would be better for what I want?
Thanks

Use Comp Cams Part # 35-312-8. It will work better than either of the cams you listed or have if you are going to be using a blower or turbo. I have used this particular cam on 4 different builds and it makes sick power and torque in boosted applications. 3 of the builds were 331 cid engines, and one was a N/A 306 that ran low 12's. The 306 cid engine had a bit of a lope at idle, the 331 cid engines idled smoother, but not dead smooth. One of the 331 engines is running 15 psi and is making 535 rwhp and 575 rwtq. on pump gas and only 25 degrees of total timing. The key is not using a cam with 112*LSA in boosted applications, but use a cam with at least 114*LSA.
