trickflow upper engine kit questiones

Yes, the 350hp that they say that it makes is true. Of course that is at the flywheel. If you look in the book they also added on a 65mm TB, headers and whatnot to get that number. Basic stuff that are considered supporting mods for someone that has enough money to buy the kit.

Problems with the kit. Doesn't come with an oil filler neck so you have to drill a hole in the valve covers and put one in. You have to purchase it seperately from summit or a cheap one from autozone.

The intake manifold is VERY close to the distributor. You could grind it down a little to allow more clearance. It is possible to still move the distributor and what not but is more of a pain. Also another cheap mod to do with this is to add a 3/8" phenolic spacer to the intake. It really cools down the upper intake and is a very cheap mod.

Oh yea. The kit is very worth it. I trapped 106 with stock TB and moved up to a 75mm. Haven't been able to get a decent run yet because I haven't had enough time to tune it. Mine is also in a SN95 car.

Any questions feel free to pm me. I'd also recommend 4.10s with this setup if staying NA.
