Paint and Body Trim for Boot Cover is loose on 1990 For Mustang GT Convertable

The trim where the boot slips under and secures is loose and coming up. Does anyone know a quick fix for this?

I think the best fix may be to replace that piece of trim. There's likely a stud broken off on yours.
