I washed my car with the hood not closed all the way. This allows me to wash the headlights. I have been washing my car this way for 5 years with no problem.

When I try to start my engine it immediately dies. I have to keep the engine at 2000 rpm for about 20 to 30 seconds. Then the engine runs like it should. The problem acts like a choke problem but the engine is fuel injected.

Obviously something in the engine compartment got wet. What?
