trouble getting crank pulley off

the previous owner installed u/d pulleys and the bolts have allen heads on them.It seems I dont have one in my toolbox that will fit ,anyone possibly know what size one I will need?

Mine uses a 5/16 allen

Purchasing a set of 1/4" and/or 3/8" allen head sockets (to fit your ratchet wrench) and a set of the usual L-shaped ones would be good. You'll find them useful more than you think. A set of sockets are 10 bucks and on up for more pricey ones, and a set of L's is cheap.

Sorry to not know the size of the fasteners usually used for U/D's, but me think Mike has you covered.
