A guy told me that the ONLY muffler that will add power is magnaflow. i think its bull but i wanted to hear from yall.

definitely false - having no muffler on at all will probably add even MORE power than magnaflow. the gains are so minimal from welding in a muffler, unless the previous one was seriously restrictive.

thats wat i thought but i thave another question. i had dynomax race bullets, i took them off to put flomaster 40's on. did i lose power, if so i dont think i would tell the diff

You wouldn't notice a difference from a muffler change other than the sound.

It's negligible - it all is. If you gained it was .5hp, if you lost it was .5hp
