Trunk Ajar Light Always On/double Horn Beep

I read on this forum that the horn will double beep upon locking when the hood/truck/door of car is not locked. My truck ajar light remains on even though truck is securely closed and so it makes sense that my horn is double beeping when remotely locked. Someone recommended checking the switch - to be sure it's clean and nothing is blocking it. Where is this switch located? Thanks!
