Trunk Lid GT badge

Anybody know how to remove the trunk lid GT badge on an '06 GT 'vert? I want to get it off without breaking it because I will be re-installing it over a blackout panel.

Use fishing line and slide it in between the badge and the trunk lid.

if you have a dark car (black especially) set it out in the sun for several hours......and then do the fishing line thing......

Avoid the fishing line and use something stiff to pry it up.
The fishing line will leave a lot of the backing on the car.
Heat it up real good, (use a hairdryer if needed) and pull it off. Go slow and take your time. It'll come off MUCH "cleaner" that way.

You can use the fishing line thing. Just get a bottle of Goo-Gone automitive strength to take the goo off when you're done.
