trunk won't open

i was wondering if the ignition key is the same key that is suppose to open the trunk. i only got one key when i bought it.

same key, try pushing down on the trunk and turning the key...mine sometimes sticks. Did you try the button in the glove box?

If all else fails, fold down back seats, crawl in and pull safety latch (if equipped).

have you actually tried the ignition key? That would answer your question for you

Did you see that episode of Mythbusters?

They actually searched the spots in Giants stadium where he is supposedly buried with a type of sonar. They didn't find anything.

yeah the button works in the club box. i put the key in and it just won't turn, like it is the wrong key.

It's the glove box.

It might sound stupid, but did you try the key both ways.. IE turn the key 180 degrees and put it in and try to spin it. I know sometimes key's get weird and only work one way. Just a chance

has the car been wrecked is so they may have pulled the deck lid off another car and never put the lock to you car in

Honestly, I've NEVER used the key for anything but starting the car. Not for the doors, not for the trunk.

Never used the key for the trunk...if I have the key, I have the buttons.

May have used it once for the doors when I didnt have the remote thing. Anyways, take it to a lock smith and tell him the problem.

i did a check and no wrecks. when i bought the car i got one key and that's it. i believe it came with keyless, it's got every other option. how do i get a new key and the keyless clicker? i'm overseas right now so i can't go to a ford dealer

yeah, glove box. typed to fast
