trunk won't open

If the same key is used ....the trunk lock mechanism may be hung up & graphite will prob free it up. Also good to have around the house for door locks, etc..

my two cents..

yea mine gets hung up too, so some times i have to go throught the back seats and pull a piece off and stick a screwdriver in it.. i think i might try some graphite on mine.. good idea

what is graphite? are you talking about the kind of rock or something else?

Does the key work on the drivers door? If not, i'd say that someone replace the ignition lock on the steering column at some point.

yeah it works for everything else. i do believe i got the trunk to open once with the key and tried it again and it didn't work.

In that case I'm with ak_sn8k01 on this one. You either have a key that is getting worn down, a lock with a tumbler getting worn down, or a lock with a tumbler getting stuck in an improper position. Try lubing the internals of the lock.
