Trying to learn my way around. Have alot of questions..

Assuming you're using the OE 6-rib belt, how much boost are you running? Does the 'charger turn freely? Do the idlers and accessories all turn freely? Is there any play or wobble in any idler or tensioner pulley that might indicate a worn bearing?

How is the shredding occurring? Are the belts consistently being chewed up on one side? Is the belt chunking (throwing rubber) from the mid-section? Any noise (squealing like old V-belts used to do...)? Does the belt ever shift a rib on the pulleys?

Check the crankshaft damper/pulley assembly. Make sure that the damper elastomer between the hub and inertia ring is not coming loose or apart.
